Looking for Painting Courses?

Want to learn to paint? Not sure where to begin? Well, hopefully I can help you decide what type of painting course you should choose.  I have been teaching people to paint since 1998 and one question that I always get asked is “what is the quickest way to learn to paint”.  In truth, the answer to that question rests on several different factors!

First, the natural ability of the student has some bearing on how quickly that person is able to start creating realistic looking artwork.

Second, the initial stages of a students learning experience can also influence the rate of success that one has in developing their artistic skills.  Like most things we learn, setting off on the wrong footing can lead to a very long and protracted learning experience.

Where to Begin!

There are numerous different painting instruction courses available including oil painting books, free art lessons, how-to-paint instruction manuals, and even private art tuition.   

Online art and painting courses are often quite hit-and-miss. There are a number of excellent home study painting courses available and there are also many websites out there that have very poor quality of instruction and are often miss-leading. The issue you may have is the fact that it is sometimes difficult to tell the good from the bad until you actually try them. The courses I am going to show you are the ones worth looking at!

You can learn to paint using a variety of online painting lessons, however there is one course that has quickly emerged as the most comprehensive painting instruction  home-study course available and that is Learn and Master Painting. I have personally used the course and can certainly say from a professional point of view that it is by far the best painting course available online.

The Learn and Master Painting course specifically covers both oil painting and acrylic painting and comprises of 20 professionally produced DVD’s, a printed course instruction manual, 3 music CD’s and most of all, professional art instruction.

The course usually retails for $249 so it’s not the cheapest course available, however the quality of the instruction is excellent and well worth the investment if you are serious about learning how to paint.

In addition to the course contents, you also get access to an online learning community and members forum which provides an active learning community to help you at all stages during the course.
